News about Mark & Jacob’s Orphanage
Hi everyone,
First and foremost, the Mark and Jacob Iskander Foundation thanks you for your donations, your prayers, and your continuous outpouring of love. When this project began, we envisioned Mark’s and Jacob’s legacy creating opportunities for underserved children all over the world. One of the ways we hoped to do that was by opening an orphanage in Egypt.
With great gratitude and joy, we are happy to announce that we have purchased the property that many children will call home for years to come. It is a three-story building with a yard and a pool for the kids to enjoy.
The orphanage will be located in a town called El Agami, which is located about ten miles outside of Alexandria. It is across the street from the church that will be overseeing operations at the orphanage.
Over the next few months, a team will be hard at work to renovate the house, the yard, and the pool. We look forward to welcoming kids as soon as renovations are complete and the house has been furnished.
Again, we can’t thank you enough for your generosity. It is what makes this project, and many others, possible. We look forward to letting you know when we have more good news to share.
